After 31 played minutes Cococa SC got a freekick which was hit by Juninho Damião. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cococa SC's goalkeeper Jerônimo Koehler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nico Barbosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerônimo Koehler having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cococa SC's Juninho Damião got a free kick in the 96th minute. Humberto Vieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Jerônimo Koehler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
