After a defensive mix-up in MckarttneyFC's zone, Murilo Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Mandrak came out of the goal and Murilo Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Raí Pinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Eusébio Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Gilvan Abraão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolas Mandrak was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Inesopolis's Amauri Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Inesopolis from getting a goal against them. Amauri Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilmar Mendonça in the 23rd minute. MckarttneyFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gugu Leão in the 24th minute. A nice corner shot did that Gugu Leão got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amauri Leão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Nilmar Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the MckarttneyFC defense, Gilvan Abraão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolas Mandrak. The MckarttneyFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Mandrak should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilvan Abraão in the 35th minute of play forced MckarttneyFC's goalkeeper Nicolas Mandrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilvan Abraão in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolas Mandrak saved MckarttneyFC from getting behind. Gilvan Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Inesopolis's Eusébio Antunes got a free kick in the 41st minute. Amauri Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raí Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Murilo Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inesopolis's supporters rose to their feet, but Murilo Arantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Mandrak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raí Pinho to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Murilo Arantes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicolas Mandrak. MckarttneyFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Murilo Arantes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Nicolas Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Murilo Arantes notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of MckarttneyFC's Nicolas Mandrak. Nicolas Mandrak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the match, MckarttneyFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilvan Abraão came free, but Nicolas Mandrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Murilo Arantes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Nicolas Mandrak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, MckarttneyFC's Silvério Soares got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in MckarttneyFC's zone, Gilvan Abraão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Mandrak came out of the goal and Gilvan Abraão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Francisco Guerra charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Francisco Guerra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. João Francisco Guerra kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When Gilvan Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Inesopolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilvan Abraão couldn't finish the play. Inesopolis's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
