Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 144) Aílton Tróia made the kick off and thus started the match. Aílton Tróia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Jaime Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Miramar E.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Miramar E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Aílton Tróia came free, but Cristóvão Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gildo do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19th minute, Gildo do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aílton Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristóvão Seco having to interfere. Gildo do Valle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cristóvão Seco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Cristóvão Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton Tróia in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Miramar E.C were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Borges to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fernando Souto got free with Décio Santana in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Jaime Borges took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Décio Santana to make any attempt to save it. Magno Bittencourt hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Cristóvão Seco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gildo do Valle went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 71st minute, Antônio Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristóvão Seco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dráuzio Sabóia went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. If Luiz Fernando Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th minute Aílton Tróia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Seco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Gildo do Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miramar E.C's Cristóvão Seco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jaime Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
