Spectators: 7187 (Terracing: 5392, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 142) Nucleo de Sangue's Dagoberto Vides started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Nucleo de Sangue booed when Carvalho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Aguiar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogério Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dagoberto Vides in the 5th minute of play. Patrick Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeu de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Lúcio Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dagoberto Vides in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Siqueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18thth minute of the game Dagoberto Vides who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carvalho's Rogério Siqueira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Nucleo de Sangue's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu de Mendonça came free, but Patrick Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dagoberto Vides in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogério Siqueira saved Carvalho from getting behind. 27 minutes into the game, one of Nucleo de Sangue:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes, Carvalho's Ramiro Leão got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Patrick Carvalho. Davi Eger hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Davi Eger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogério Siqueira having to interfere. Carvalho's Rogério Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Eger in the 39th minute of play. After having played for 39 minutes, Davi Eger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nucleo de Sangue's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davi Eger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Carvalho's goalkeeper Rogério Siqueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeu de Mendonça to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Lúcio Fontes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeu de Mendonça in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Carvalho saved Nucleo de Sangue from getting behind. 62 minutes into the game, Enéas Aguiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carvalho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nucleo de Sangue the free kick. After a rather tough play, Carvalho's Enéas Aguiar got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Tadeu de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patrick Carvalho having to interfere. If Wilton Travassos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrick Carvalho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edmílson Paranaense went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 79th minute Wilton Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick Carvalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
