Nucleo de Sangue's Patrick Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Nucleo de Sangue from getting a goal against them. Hílton Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adalberto Vieira having to interfere. The supporters of Assiz booed when Nucleo de Sangue was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adalberto Vieira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Travassos in the 75th minute of play. Patrick Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel de Salles, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. In the last second Adalberto Vieira throw himself and got hold of the ball when Renatinho Donatello in the 78thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Patrick Carvalho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilson Paulista, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd minute Wilton Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Vieira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rafinha Santos came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Nucleo de Sangue fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafinha Santos couldn't finish the play. Nucleo de Sangue's Patrick Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Paulista in the 96th minute of play. Nucleo de Sangue were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
