Nico Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Capixaba in the 25th minute of play. Nico Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hélder Capixaba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Walmir Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luan Severo having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Marcelinho Carioca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SubZero's Luan Severo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The audience was convinced that Marcelinho Carioca's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luan Severo was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, SubZero's Dadá Alcântara got a free kick in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Lumiar's Luís Guilherme Tepedino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Luan Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelinho Carioca in the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Ezequiel Esteves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nico Abreu. The goal made the score 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Esteves got free with Nico Abreu in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Lumiar's zone, Ezequiel Esteves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nico Abreu came out of the goal and Ezequiel Esteves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 79th minute Hélder Capixaba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SubZero's zone, Walmir Gomes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luan Severo came out of the goal and Walmir Gomes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maurício Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 88 minutes, Marcelinho Carioca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lumiar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelinho Carioca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walmir Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched SubZero eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
