With an all-out effort, Swat do bairro's William Simão threw himself towards the right post 14 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Natanael Faria, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Alfredinho de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Eriberto Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Swat do bairro booed when A.E.Santacruzense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. William Arruda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute Eriberto Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Faria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Tasso in the 83rd minute of play forced A.E.Santacruzense's goalkeeper William Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
