Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Capixaba in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antônio Hoffmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of SubZero booed when Wêslley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gernando Teixeira didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hélder Capixaba in the 19th minute of play forced Wêslley's goalkeeper Antônio Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ezequiel Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Hoffmann having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wêslley's Armandinho Ceresso got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Giovanni Goiano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antônio Hoffmann skillfully saved the ball. Dadá Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dadá Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dadá Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Antônio Hoffmann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kléberson Azevedo made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Hélder Capixaba took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Antônio Hoffmann to make any attempt to save it. Vladimir Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateus Lira struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Luan Severo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wêslley. 60 minutes into the game, Maurício Marquez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SubZero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wêslley the free kick. In the 63rd minute, Vladimir Loyola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wêslley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 74 played minutes SubZero got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Alcântara. If Vladimir Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kléberson Azevedo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luan Severo saved SubZero from getting behind. In the 93rdth minute of the game Kléberson Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SubZero's Luan Severo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kléberson Azevedo in the 95th minute of play forced SubZero's goalkeeper Luan Severo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. SubZero walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
