Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Kléberson Azevedo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The attack was good, but when Perivaldo Gerber in the 6th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Antônio Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Perivaldo Gerber in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antônio Hoffmann saved Wêslley from getting behind. A collision led to A.E.Santacruzense getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Afonso dos Santos hit a great ball. In the 18th minute Armandinho Ceresso managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Vladimir Loyola made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 20thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but William Simão would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Vladimir Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. William Simão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson Azevedo in the 25th minute of play. Deivid Prestes might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antônio Hoffmann. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deivid Prestes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.E.Santacruzense's goalkeeper William Simão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Vladimir Loyola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wêslley fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Vítor Branco during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to A.E.Santacruzense getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. João Vítor Branco hit a great ball. A.E.Santacruzense's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Kléberson Azevedo scored to the left of an out of position William Simão, making the score, 3-0. Kléberson Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 50th minute. William Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Perivaldo Gerber made the kick off in the second half. A.E.Santacruzense's William Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson Azevedo in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, A.E.Santacruzense's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Loyola came free, but William Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antônio Hoffmann stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Perivaldo Gerber's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. William Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Azevedo in the 63rd minute of the match. If Vladimir Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Kléberson Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Wêslley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kléberson Azevedo couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Loyola in the 74th minute of play forced A.E.Santacruzense's goalkeeper William Simão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Wêslley getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Gernando Marquez hit a great ball. A collision led to Wêslley getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Armandinho Ceresso hit a great ball. William Simão came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Wêslley's Vladimir Loyola. But to his dismay, Vladimir Loyola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. William Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. Wêslley were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of A.E.Santacruzense for a fine match.
