With a little luck, Moinhos ES's Claudinho da Rocha got control of the ball when Dráusio Paranaense tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Affan Akbaşak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Moinhos ES's supporters rose to their feet, but Affan Akbaşak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Teles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Kléberson Recife had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute, Kléberson Recife made a precise shot to the right of Sérgio Teles. War Dragon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Sérgio Teles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Pombal in the 22nd minute of play. Sérgio Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kléberson Recife in the 23rd minute of the match. Dráusio Paranaense might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudinho da Rocha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dráusio Paranaense ran back to his position shaking his head. Claudinho da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Sena in the 26th minute of the match. War Dragon FC's Reynaldo Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sérgio Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Kléberson Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Sérgio Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind War Dragon FC's goalkeeper Sérgio Teles, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 44th minute of the match Roger Faria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sérgio Teles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The War Dragon FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Moinhos ES were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Sena was the one to do the kick off. Kléberson Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sérgio Teles came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Moinhos ES's Claudinho Pombal. But to his dismay, Claudinho Pombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Sérgio Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudinho Pombal in the 60th minute. The long shot by Roger Faria in the 62nd minute really tested Sérgio Teles's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 64 minutes into the match, War Dragon FC's goalkeeper Sérgio Teles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinho Pombal. The crowd rose to their feet as Kléberson Recife kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sérgio Teles. That made the score 0-4 in the 66 minute of play. Claudinho da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráusio Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute, Moinhos ES's Kléberson Recife ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sérgio Teles. Sérgio Teles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 85 minutes into the match, Kléberson Recife had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Teles. War Dragon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kléberson Recife was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. When Valério Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored War Dragon FC's protests and gave Valério Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. After 90 played minutes War Dragon FC got a freekick which was hit by Valério Tepedino. In the 95th minute Kléberson Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Teles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Moinhos ES's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
