Adhemar Valladares hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Valdemar Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valdemar Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th match minute, RATOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdemar Barros to maneuver through the defense. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sevilha EC reached it. Paulo Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronaldinho Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, RATOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Toledo came free, but Paulo Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Doriva Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Sevilha EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doriva Toledo couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Sevilha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Barros came free, but Murilo Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juarês Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Doriva Toledo to make the kick off. Murilo Alvarenga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Figueiredo in the 57th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Juarês Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. RATOS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juarês Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Alvarenga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valdemar Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind RATOS FC's goalkeeper Paulo Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paulo Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doriva Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. When Serafim Teles fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RATOS FC's protests and gave Serafim Teles a yellow card for diving instead. Serafim Teles hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Waldir Severo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and RATOS FC's Paulo Donato didn't even have to move. After 76 minutes, Deivid Trevisan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sevilha EC and the RATOS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of RATOS FC booed when Sevilha EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivid Trevisan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Sevilha EC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdemar Barros came free, but Murilo Alvarenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
