Spectators: 7240 (Terracing: 5432, Seating: 1665, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Reynaldo Sena got the match started through his kick off. Sérgio Teles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guilherme Goiano in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute, Reynaldo Sena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The War Dragon FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luiz Gustavo Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Reynaldo Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Linares having to interfere. Danúbio's Guilherme Goiano got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Benê Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Danúbio's supporters rose to their feet, but Benê Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Teles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 27 minutes, Léo Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danúbio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léo Mineiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Benê Queirós kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sérgio Teles. That made the score 1-1 in the 29 minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Danúbio's Benê Queirós sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sérgio Teles narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in War Dragon FC's zone, Benê Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Teles came out of the goal and Benê Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráusio Paranaense in the 44th minute of play forced Danúbio's goalkeeper Juvenal Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Reynaldo Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Danúbio's Benê Queirós got a free kick in the 47th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benê Queirós made a kick off. Danúbio's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonel Pimenta in the 54th minute. War Dragon FC's Sérgio Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Goiano in the 56th minute of play. Benê Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Teles having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Dráusio Paranaense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juvenal Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reynaldo Sena in the 68th minute of the match. If Guilherme Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dráusio Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Juvenal Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danúbio's Benê Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Teodoro Albuquerque fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored War Dragon FC's protests and gave Teodoro Albuquerque a yellow card for diving instead. After 82 played minutes War Dragon FC got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Albuquerque. Danúbio's Benê Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Danúbio booed when War Dragon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valério Tepedino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Danúbio's Leonel Pimenta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 90th minute of the match Pedrinho Peres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sérgio Teles skillfully saved the ball. Sérgio Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Goiano in the 91st minute of the match. After 95 minutes, Valério Tepedino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the War Dragon FC and the Danúbio players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, War Dragon FC's Valério Tepedino got a free kick in the 96th minute. In the 96th minute, Leonel Pimenta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and War Dragon FC's Sérgio Teles didn't even have to move. The War Dragon FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Danúbio from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
