In the 3rdth minute of the game Reinaldo Peres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loucos pela bola's Valdemar Severo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 4 played minutes Loucos pela bola got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Melo. Chen Lin Xiong struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Tiago de Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Loucos pela bola. If Modesto Tancredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Anastasio Bladi made a precise shot to the right of Tiago de Godoi. Squadra Borges Azzura's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Zézinho Leão succeeded in the game's 15th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. In the 19th minute, Anastasio Bladi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiago de Godoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Squadra Borges Azzura's Tiago de Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Modesto Tancredo in the 22nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Zézinho Leão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Zézinho Leão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Squadra Borges Azzura's supporters rose to their feet, but Zézinho Leão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdemar Severo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Chen Lin Xiong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Reinaldo Peres made a kick off. If Anastasio Bladi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zézinho Leão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Afonsinho Melo hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Reinaldo Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Waldemar Terra hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Anastasio Bladi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tiago de Godoi having to make a save. In the 74th minute, Loucos pela bola's Modesto Tancredo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Reinaldo Peres in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdemar Severo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 minutes of play, Squadra Borges Azzura's Zézinho Leão made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valdemar Severo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valdemar Severo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reinaldo Peres's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Loucos pela bola's Valdemar Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zézinho Leão in the 97th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zézinho Leão in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valdemar Severo saved Loucos pela bola from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Squadra Borges Azzura lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
