The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes, Ultra sub-18's Nico Mattos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodriguinho da Silva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ultra sub-18 reached it. In the 5th minute of the match José Vítor Lopes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodriguinho da Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Ultra sub-18's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro de Godoi came free, but Luiz Guilherme Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guilherme da Silva hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Pedrinho da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodoro de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Luiz Guilherme Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Cacoalinho getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Hamílton Rodrigues hit a great ball. Ultra sub-18's Luiz Guilherme Vale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro de Godoi in the 44th minute of play. Pedrinho da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho da Silva having to interfere.

After a defensive mix-up in Cacoalinho's zone, Benjamim Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho da Silva came out of the goal and Benjamim Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ultra sub-18's goalkeeper Luiz Guilherme Vale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ultra sub-18's José Pedro de Souza got a free kick in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Ultra sub-18's goal looked a bit too open when Betinho Cosme came free, but Luiz Guilherme Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Betinho Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Guilherme Vale having to interfere. Benjamim Branco took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodriguinho da Silva. Rodriguinho da Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Cacoalinho's zone, Benjamim Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodriguinho da Silva came out of the goal and Benjamim Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedrinho da Silveira in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho da Silva saved Cacoalinho from getting behind. A collision led to Ultra sub-18 getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Anísio Paiva hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Betinho Cosme ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luiz Guilherme Vale was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
