If Teodoro de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Danúbio's Juvenal Linares got control of the ball when Betinho Cosme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juvenal Linares made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Betinho Cosme sent off a good shot on target. Guilherme Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rodriguinho da Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Mesquita in the 65th minute of the match. In the 69th minute of the match Pedrinho Peres sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rodriguinho da Silva skillfully saved the ball. After 76 played minutes Danúbio got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Gustavo Mesquita. Juvenal Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Cosme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benê Queirós in the 89th minute of play forced Cacoalinho's goalkeeper Rodriguinho da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute, Eliseu Mota had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The supporters of Cacoalinho booed when Danúbio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Mesquita didn't get a good kick on the ball.
