Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) Teodoro de Godoi made the kick off and thus started the match. After some careless play in the Cacoalinho defense, Dráusio Paranaense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodriguinho da Silva. The Cacoalinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodriguinho da Silva should have stopped the shot. After 13 played minutes War Dragon FC got a freekick which was hit by Frédson Linares. After a defensive mix-up in War Dragon FC's zone, Betinho Cosme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Teles came out of the goal and Betinho Cosme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the game, Carlos Alberto Abraão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. War Dragon FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cacoalinho the free kick. In the 15th match minute, War Dragon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Abraão to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rodriguinho da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gonçalo Loyola hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Rodriguinho da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dráusio Paranaense in the 23rd minute of play. Sérgio Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodoro de Godoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Betinho Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Teles having to interfere. If Teodoro de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. War Dragon FC's Sérgio Teles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro de Godoi in the 36th minute of play. Reynaldo Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Sena in the 45th minute of play forced Cacoalinho's goalkeeper Rodriguinho da Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodriguinho da Silva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dráusio Paranaense, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Betinho Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Sérgio Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half War Dragon FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Teodoro de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute, Teodoro de Godoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edvaldo Soares charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvaldo Soares the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to War Dragon FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Edvaldo Soares hit a great ball. If Dráusio Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62ndth minute of the game Teodoro de Godoi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but War Dragon FC's Sérgio Teles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sérgio Teles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodoro de Godoi went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dráusio Paranaense got free with Rodriguinho da Silva in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Betinho Cosme struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Sérgio Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cacoalinho. Rodriguinho da Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dráusio Paranaense in the 78th minute. Edvaldo Soares was shown his second yellow card after 86 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to War Dragon FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Edvaldo Soares hit a great ball. Betinho Cosme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Sena's late challenge caught a Cacoalinho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reynaldo Sena helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cacoalinho booed when War Dragon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Betinho Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
