The Andradas United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a little luck, Oswaldo Atletico's Gil Luz got control of the ball when José Pedro Prado tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dadá Pontes made a kick off. Fellipe Terra made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Emílio Neto sent off a good shot on target. In the 58th match minute, Andradas United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Magno Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Reinaldo Paranaense was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 59th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Alex Damião fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oswaldo Atletico's protests and gave Alex Damião a yellow card for diving instead. Alex Damião hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that José Pedro Prado's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gil Luz was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. José Pedro Prado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Luz having to interfere. Magno Soeiro's late challenge caught a Oswaldo Atletico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magno Soeiro helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Emílio Neto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Álvaro Carioca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gil Luz having to make a save. After some careless play in the Oswaldo Atletico defense, José Pedro Prado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Luz. The Oswaldo Atletico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Luz should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Andradas United had won after a very even match.
