With a little luck, Maquine SC's Michel Leme got control of the ball when Agostinho Leão tried to sneak it across the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, João Augusto Porto notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Maquine SC's Michel Leme. Michel Leme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st match minute, 4 E V E R T O N was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Moura to maneuver through the defense. Jefferson Machado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leonardo Esteves's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The supporters of 4 E V E R T O N booed when Maquine SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. Michel Leme made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when João Augusto Porto sent off a good shot on target. Jefferson Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renato Machado in the 30th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Agostinho Leão took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Michel Leme to make any attempt to save it. Gernando Baptista struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Jefferson Machado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maquine SC. Michel Leme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamim Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ciro Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Agostinho Leão had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Leme. Maquine SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Agostinho Leão was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 62 minutes of play, 4 E V E R T O N's Benjamim Furlan made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michel Leme was left in no man's land by his defense there! When César Loyola fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maquine SC's protests and gave César Loyola a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, César Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonardo Esteves took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jefferson Machado. Jefferson Machado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Benjamim Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 4 E V E R T O N's Jefferson Machado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gernando Baptista in the 77th minute of play. Michel Leme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agostinho Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Benjamim Furlan scored 5-2 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michel Leme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Maquine SC's Edmílson Meireles got a free kick in the 90th minute. The supporters of Maquine SC booed when 4 E V E R T O N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Chaves didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. 4 E V E R T O N had played much better football throughout.
