Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. If Duarte Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. Acácio de Queirós came out of the goal and Rogério de Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Rogério de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Atletico do Urias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério de Almeida couldn't finish the play. Duarte Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Acácio de Queirós having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Duarte Borges ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Acácio de Queirós was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 70th minute, Duarte Borges left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletico do Urias fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 78 minutes into the match, Rafael Anderson Wagner FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério de Almeida came free, but Acácio de Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aílton Nóbrega got free with Natanael França in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Rafael Anderson Wagner FC's zone, Duarte Borges stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Acácio de Queirós came out of the goal and Duarte Borges tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Atletico do Urias had played much better football throughout.
