Spectators: 6416 (Terracing: 5406, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 10) When José Carlos de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Bravo Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Carlos de Castro couldn't finish the play. Glauco Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remo Cruz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elano de Carvalho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Remo Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Gerber made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armandinho de Barros in the 12th minute. When Armandinho de Barros, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 17 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The David Gerber was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Remo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano de Carvalho having to interfere. If Glauco Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elano de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Cruz in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armandinho de Barros got free with David Gerber in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 46th minute, Nico Teles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Norberto Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Gerber having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remo Cruz to make the kick off. Norberto Gonçalves struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. David Gerber didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vrau AxT. After 58 minutes of play, Vrau AxT's Norberto Gonçalves made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Gerber was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armandinho de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th match minute, Vrau AxT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Régis Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Remo Cruz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the game, Vrau AxT's Norberto Gonçalves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Gerber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 85th minute Remo Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes, Vrau AxT's Gino Branco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper David Gerber came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Vrau AxT reached it. Glauco Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano de Carvalho having to interfere. Vrau AxT's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
