When Giuseppe Carioca fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Desengano's protests and gave Giuseppe Carioca a yellow card for diving instead. 23 minutes into the game, one of Desengano:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrick de Amorim in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arlindo Teixeira saved Marotos de Torrinha F.C. from getting behind. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Marotos de Torrinha F.C.'s goalkeeper Arlindo Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arlindo Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Arlindo Teixeira managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Desengano's Patrick de Amorim fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Patrick de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Marotos de Torrinha F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Iuri Mendonça. Patrick de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Teixeira having to interfere. In the 81stth minute of the game Evaristo Veiga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Desengano's Vitinho Paraíba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ricardo Guimarães kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arlindo Teixeira. That made the score 1-3 in the 82 minute of play. In the 85th minute Ricardo Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arlindo Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrick de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, Iuri Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 89 minutes into the game, Patrick de Amorim was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desengano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marotos de Torrinha F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Desengano's Patrick de Amorim got a free kick in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Desengano's goal looked a bit too open when Tarcisio Domingues came free, but Vitinho Paraíba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Desengano's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
