A collision led to Fc Braga getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tales Gerber hit a great ball. Gabriel Neto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Yuri Queiroz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ediberto Travassos in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antônio Brodel struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Diguinho Veloso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Braga. In the 66th minute, one of Fc Braga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fc Braga. The referee gave Red Hawks a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Carlos Fernando Breckenfeld, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fc Braga's Yuri Queiroz. 2-3. Antônio Brodel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Délio de Castro fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Hawks's protests and gave Délio de Castro a yellow card for diving instead. Délio de Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. João Augusto de Queiroz scored 2-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diguinho Veloso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ediberto Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Queiroz having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Neto in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Queiroz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oswaldo Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Fc Braga had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
