XURUPITAS AFC's Yan Trancoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save XURUPITAS AFC from getting a goal against them. Roger Paraense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Yan Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. XURUPITAS AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinto the free kick. After a rather tough play, XURUPITAS AFC's Glauco Viana got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Afonsinho Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinto's supporters rose to their feet, but Afonsinho Soeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yan Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Afonsinho Soeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yan Trancoso came out and tried to block the shot, but Afonsinho Soeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Allan Velasco made the kick off in the second half. Guilherme Zanette's late challenge caught a Pinto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guilherme Zanette helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Pinto booed when XURUPITAS AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guilherme Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the XURUPITAS AFC defense, Afonsinho Soeiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yan Trancoso. The XURUPITAS AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yan Trancoso should have stopped the shot. Afonsinho Soeiro hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After having played for 65 minutes, Allan Velasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. XURUPITAS AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allan Velasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pinto's Duarte Saraiva proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Pinto from getting a goal against them. Glauco Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 79 played minutes Pinto got a freekick which was hit by Afonsinho Soeiro. In the 79th minute, Afonsinho Soeiro fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind XURUPITAS AFC's goalkeeper Yan Trancoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. XURUPITAS AFC's Yan Trancoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roger Paraense in the 86th minute of play. If Allan Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Velasco in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Saraiva saved Pinto from getting behind. Douglas Pena who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Duarte Saraiva when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
