Cacá Lago came out of the goal and Alexandre Monteiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cacá Lago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Monteiro in the 19th minute of play. Dráusio Viana's late challenge caught a S.E REAL HEMP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dráusio Viana helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of S.E REAL HEMP booed when Derrota fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Viana didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexandre Monteiro got free with Cacá Lago in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Derrota fc getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lúcio Vieira hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes, S.E REAL HEMP's Natã Palmeira shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moses James came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in S.E REAL HEMP reached it. Baldomiro Jacob scored 2-0 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cacá Lago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandre Monteiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Cacá Lago when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baldomiro Jacob in the 42nd minute of play forced S.E REAL HEMP's goalkeeper Cacá Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Natã Palmeira was the one to do the kick off. S.E REAL HEMP's Cacá Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Jacob in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Derrota fc's Dinei do Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cacá Lago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cacá Lago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The S.E REAL HEMP fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cacá Lago should have stopped the shot.
