When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomiro Jacob made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Baldomiro Jacob kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Diguinho Veloso. That made the score 0-3 in the 52 minute of play. Derrota fc's Baldomiro Jacob got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Diguinho Veloso managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Derrota fc's Baldomiro Jacob fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Alexandre Monteiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diguinho Veloso was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. In the 83rd minute, Derrota fc's Baldomiro Jacob ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Diguinho Veloso. Diguinho Veloso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. After 87 played minutes Derrota fc got a freekick which was hit by José Pedro do Vale. Carlos Fernando Breckenfeld, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dinei do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Diguinho Veloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Jacob in the 93rd minute of play. Derrota fc played a much better game than Red Hawks and deserved their victory. The Red Hawks players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
