If Gabriel Neto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Santos Barueri F.C getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Eliseu Paraibano hit a great ball. The supporters of Red Hawks booed when Santos Barueri F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Paraibano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nico Passos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ediberto Travassos went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the match, Red Hawks's Gabriel Neto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nico Passos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th minute Gabriel Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Passos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Santos Barueri F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Neto came free, but Nico Passos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 49 minutes Santos Barueri F.C's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Carlos Fernando Breckenfeld who took care of the corner kick. The Red Hawks fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Red Hawks's Ediberto Travassos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Diguinho Veloso was left in no man's land by his defense there! 89 minutes into the game, one of Red Hawks:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Basílio Damião charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basílio Damião the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Basílio Damião hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Red Hawks's goalkeeper Diguinho Veloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Santos Barueri F.C had won after a very even match.
