Tiago Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Wilson Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deivid Marinho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Manthiqueira getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Cícero Monteiro hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, Erik de Lara sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Manthiqueira's Wilson Corrêa didn't even have to move. Deivid Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Wilson Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Marequeta SC booed when Manthiqueira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Erik de Lara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Marequeta SC's goal looked a bit too open when Willian Marinho came free, but Ismael Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilson Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deivid Marinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manthiqueira's Willian Marinho got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deivid Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the game, Willian Marinho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ismael Velloso. Willian Marinho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Manthiqueira's Aílton Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Natanael Abraão fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marequeta SC's protests and gave Natanael Abraão a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Marequeta SC got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Abraão. The long shot by Luiz Fabiano Passos in the 73rd minute really tested Ismael Velloso's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 75th minute, Deivid Marinho made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Corrêa. Manthiqueira's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Ismael Velloso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aílton Arantes in the 78th minute. Wilson Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Deivid Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes of play Marequeta SC's Natanael Abraão was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Marequeta SC's Natanael Abraão got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 94th minute, Willian Marinho made a precise shot to the right of Ismael Velloso. Marequeta SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Tiago Loyola recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marequeta SC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Manthiqueira to leave the ground with a draw.
