But to his dismay, Laerte Machado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 7 played minutes Quintinos got a freekick which was hit by Umberto Sabóia. Aloísio Rocha's late challenge caught a Quintinos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aloísio Rocha helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, 毛冰泉 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Délio de Salles was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Carioca in the 14th minute of play forced Quintinos's goalkeeper Ramiro Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 毛冰泉 might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Délio de Salles. In the 26th minute Pedrão Figueiredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laerte Machado got free with Ramiro Loureiro in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Délio de Salles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 毛冰泉 in the 40th minute of the match. The wind increased when 毛冰泉 made the kick off in the second half. The corner led Quintinos's Gilberto Ramalho to fire away a dangerous shot which Délio de Salles despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ramiro Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Machado in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Quintinos getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. 毛冰泉 hit a great ball. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Quintinos! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedrão Figueiredo in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, BARRANCA FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gilberto Ramalho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 72 minutes, Vivaldo Dante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BARRANCA FC and the Quintinos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vivaldo Dante hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Délio de Salles made an important save on a dangerous shot by 毛冰泉 in the 73rd minute. 毛冰泉 was extremely unlucky when he, in the 76th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Gilberto Ramalho got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. BARRANCA FC's Délio de Salles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save BARRANCA FC from getting a goal against them. If Vivaldo Dante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laerte Machado took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Loureiro. Ramiro Loureiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. 88 minutes into the match, Quintinos's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Figueiredo came free, but Ramiro Loureiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Délio de Salles made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when 毛冰泉 sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Figueiredo in the 92nd minute of play forced Quintinos's goalkeeper Ramiro Loureiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 95 minutes into the game, when Gilson Zanette put in a rough tackle. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for BARRANCA FC. Cléber de Amaral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ramiro Loureiro. 5-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Dorival Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot. BARRANCA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorival Jacinto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramiro Loureiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
