A collision led to TORRE FORTE getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Cleiton Meireles hit a great ball. Gláuber Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. If Rogério Trevisan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Pinhais FC's Rogério Trevisan in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TORRE FORTE's goalie prevented a goal. 12 minutes into the game, Róbson Catarinense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pinhais FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave TORRE FORTE the free kick. After 13 played minutes Pinhais FC got a freekick which was hit by Róbson Catarinense. Jailson Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Vânderson Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Júlio Antunes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vânderson Gonçalves. Júlio Antunes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Gláuber Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Guerra in the 21st minute of play. Pinhais FC's Rafa de Medeiros suffered a sore knee after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastião Mendes during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to TORRE FORTE getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Sebastião Mendes hit a great ball. If Evandro Guerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jailson Camargo got free with Vânderson Gonçalves in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 36 minutes into the match, TORRE FORTE's goal looked a bit too open when Evandro Guerra came free, but Gláuber Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Evandro Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gláuber Barros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Gláuber Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evandro Guerra in the 40th minute of play. Evandro Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Júlio Antunes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Rogério Trevisan fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pinhais FC's protests and gave Rogério Trevisan a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Pinhais FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Trevisan. Cleiton Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. TORRE FORTE's Gláuber Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save TORRE FORTE from getting a goal against them. Vânderson Gonçalves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Júlio Antunes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TORRE FORTE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 75 minutes into the match, Pinhais FC's goal looked a bit too open when Júlio Antunes came free, but Vânderson Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Júlio Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jailson Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson Gonçalves having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Júlio Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Rogério Trevisan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. After 86 played minutes Pinhais FC got a freekick which was hit by Rogério Trevisan. Júlio Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vânderson Gonçalves having to interfere. Pinhais FC's Vânderson Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júlio Antunes in the 90th minute of play. If Jailson Camargo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
