After having played for 44 minutes, Jonas Damião managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velanie FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Damião was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jonas Damião made a kick off. When Jonas Damião came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Velanie FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonas Damião couldn't finish the play. After 55 minutes, Jonas Damião mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Velanie FC and the Arraias players grew even worse after the yellow card.
