Renatinho Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Tróia having to interfere. 3 minutes into the game, Nuno Neiva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jubilados do Mangue's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gamelleiras the free kick. After 3 played minutes Jubilados do Mangue got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Neiva. Tomé Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renatinho Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Renatinho Pereira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gamelleiras fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. André Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Gamelleiras defense, Marcelo Marinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Carlos Cardozo. The Gamelleiras fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Carlos Cardozo should have stopped the shot. 19 minutes into the match, Jubilados do Mangue's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Pereira came free, but Tomé Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Gamelleiras's Conrado de Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomé Tróia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomé Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renatinho Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, André Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot. José Carlos Cardozo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. José Carlos Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Mandrak in the 41st minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renatinho Pereira made a kick off. With a little luck, Gamelleiras's José Carlos Cardozo got control of the ball when Marcelo Marinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dino Cruz charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dino Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th minute, one of Jubilados do Mangue:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jubilados do Mangue. The referee gave Gamelleiras a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Franklin Faria, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Jubilados do Mangue's Tomé Tróia. 2-2. Tomé Tróia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Conrado de Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Tomé Tróia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gamelleiras. In the 68thth minute of the game Conrado de Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jubilados do Mangue's Tomé Tróia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nuno Neiva kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Conrado de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomé Tróia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Pereira in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Marcelo Marinho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. José Carlos Cardozo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When André Mandrak got free in front of the goal in the 94th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. José Carlos Cardozo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Marcelo Marinho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos Cardozo having to interfere. André Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jubilados do Mangue played a much better game than Gamelleiras and deserved their victory. The Gamelleiras players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
