The crowd rose to their feet as Sport Clube Lasanha's Bruninho Negri slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juan de Lima. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. A collision led to Jajuaryahiva getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jaime Montenegro hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Hudson Dionísio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Gernando Recife fired a really elegant long shot, but Juan de Lima threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. 13 minutes into the match, Jajuaryahiva's goalkeeper Juan de Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldir de Senna. With a little luck, Jajuaryahiva's Juan de Lima got control of the ball when Waldir de Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Waldir de Senna might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juan de Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldir de Senna ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruninho Negri in the 18th minute of play forced Jajuaryahiva's goalkeeper Juan de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Waldir de Senna made a precise shot to the right of Juan de Lima. Jajuaryahiva's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Jajuaryahiva's Dorival Vale pulled a muscle in his back after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, Sport Clube Lasanha's Erasmo de Queirós got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Ulisses de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 35 minutes into the match, Sport Clube Lasanha's goal looked a bit too open when Ulisses de Godoi came free, but Sandro Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Bruninho Negri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Juan de Lima. That made the score 3-1 in the 38 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sport Clube Lasanha's Gernando Recife got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ulisses de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Sandro Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulisses de Godoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruninho Negri hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruninho Negri made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Sport Clube Lasanha got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Seco. In the 58th match minute, Sport Clube Lasanha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Sarmento to maneuver through the defense. Wilson Trigo fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 59th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruninho Negri in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan de Lima saved Jajuaryahiva from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Jajuaryahiva's zone, Waldir de Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan de Lima came out of the goal and Waldir de Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Bruninho Negri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan de Lima. Jajuaryahiva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bruninho Negri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After 72 minutes, Hudson Dionísio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jajuaryahiva and the Sport Clube Lasanha players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Jajuaryahiva's Hudson Dionísio got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Bruninho Negri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Waldir de Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Juan de Lima was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Ulisses de Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 minutes of play Jajuaryahiva's Hudson Dionísio was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Jajuaryahiva getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Hudson Dionísio hit a great ball. In the 87th minute of the match Gernando Recife shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan de Lima showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Wilson Trigo hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Jajuaryahiva players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sport Clube Lasanha.
