With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Mandrak in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renato Tepedino saved Google.com from getting behind. In the 37th minute, Ediberto Donato got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jubilados do Mangue's Tomé Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giovanni Dante in the 38th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Jubilados do Mangue got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Neiva. André Mandrak struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Renato Tepedino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jubilados do Mangue. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by André Mandrak in the 90th minute of play forced Google.com's goalkeeper Renato Tepedino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcelo Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
