After having played for 35 minutes, Wilton Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lyndt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilton Moraes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisinho Mota received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Jânio Dracena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilton de Medeiros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jânio Dracena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisinho Mota in the 61st minute of the match.
