Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vicente Paes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Furtainha SC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jorginho Vidal hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Paes in the 9th minute of play forced Furtainha SC's goalkeeper Durval Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silas Pirani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Luiz Fabiano Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Pirani having to interfere. In the 24th minute, one of Defunto EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Defunto EC. Silas Pirani went to the wrong direction when Clóvis de Sena was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Luiz Fabiano Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clóvis de Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Benjamim Faria was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 34th played minute, shot the ball from way out. After having played for 72 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furtainha SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fabiano Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Luiz Fabiano Gerber put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Silas Pirani. Luiz Fabiano Gerber stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Defunto EC's defenders and the ball went out. Furtainha SC appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. 84 minutes into the match, Defunto EC's Luan Paraense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Durval Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, Defunto EC's goal looked a bit too open when Dênis Peres came free, but Silas Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silas Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Peres in the 87th minute of the match. After 89 minutes of play, Furtainha SC's Luiz Fabiano Gerber made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silas Pirani was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Furtainha SC's goalkeeper Durval Costa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Silas Pirani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Fabiano Gerber's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. If Dênis Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Furtainha SC were the better team. Furtainha SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
