Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Caio Cosme came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Red Nozes Football Club's Adriano Tavares. But to his dismay, Adriano Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Red Nozes Football Club's Jorginho Loureiro got control of the ball when Maurinho Barral tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Pedro Augusto Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th match minute, FlaCandango was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Maria Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Tiago Leite managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Nozes Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiago Leite was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Caio Cosme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Tiago Leite's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caio Cosme was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Adriano Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Cosme having to interfere. If Adriano Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Augusto Coelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorginho Loureiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute Pedro Augusto Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When José Maria Paraíba was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 26 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, FlaCandango's José Maria Paraíba got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 31 played minutes FlaCandango got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Coelho. Maurinho Barral's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Jorginho Loureiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Adriano Tavares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Nozes Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adriano Tavares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiago Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Cosme having to interfere. Adriano Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Caio Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Red Nozes Football Club were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Caio Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Leite in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute Haroldo Miranda suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Pedro Augusto Coelho charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Augusto Coelho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes FlaCandango got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Augusto Coelho. Válbson da Silva shot from long distance in the 56th minute, but Caio Cosme was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Alberto Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. The long shot by Válbson da Silva in the 58th minute really tested Caio Cosme's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Adriano Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caio Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Tavares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorginho Loureiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maurinho Barral in the 64th minute of the match. With his leg Caio Cosme managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Red Nozes Football Club's Adriano Tavares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 69th minute Maurinho Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorginho Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Adriano Tavares lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Caio Cosme. If Tiago Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Adriano Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adriano Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Caio Cosme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurinho Barral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jorginho Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Váldson Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FlaCandango's supporters crossed their fingers, but Váldson Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Red Nozes Football Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FlaCandango throughout the match.
