With 11 minutes on the clock, Orlando Galvão commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Charqueadense! Caio do Valle blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Perivaldo Pereira having to make a save. Charqueadense's Narciso de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Toscano in the 24th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Caio do Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Diamantino Massa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Charqueadense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vista Verde the free kick. In the 32nd match minute, Charqueadense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Massa to maneuver through the defense. Perivaldo Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio do Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orlando Toscano to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caio do Valle couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute Dráusio Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adelino Hermes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Vista Verde getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Filipe Vidal hit a great ball. After 93 minutes, Frédson Arruda mouthed his way into the referee's book.
