Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vista Verde's Orlando Toscano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 15 minutes, Dênis Peres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Furtainha SC and the Vista Verde players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Furtainha SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dênis Peres to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes Vista Verde got a freekick which was hit by Walmyr da Silva. Luiz Fabiano Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Vista Verde's Perivaldo Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Gerber in the 23rd minute of play. Perivaldo Pereira made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Dênis Peres sent off a good shot on target. Filipe Vidal hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. In the 38thth minute of the game Luiz Fabiano Gerber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vista Verde's Perivaldo Pereira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Vista Verde's zone, Luiz Fabiano Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perivaldo Pereira came out of the goal and Luiz Fabiano Gerber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Furtainha SC's Jorginho Vidal got a free kick in the 41st minute. Dênis Peres took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perivaldo Pereira. Perivaldo Pereira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Fabiano Gerber was the one to do the kick off. Perivaldo Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Orlando Toscano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval Costa having to interfere. Luiz Fabiano Gerber struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Perivaldo Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furtainha SC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Fabiano Gerber in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Perivaldo Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Dênis Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Furtainha SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dênis Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
