The referee showed Agnaldo Cruz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Furtainha SC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Agnaldo Cruz hit a great ball. In the 16th minute of the match Oséas Azevedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Durval Costa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Furtainha SC's Luiz Fabiano Gerber got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Furtainha SC's Durval Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Furtainha SC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fabiano Gerber in the 30th minute of play forced Braganca's goalkeeper Dorival Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fabiano Gerber blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorival Oliveira having to make a save. Walmir Travassos charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walmir Travassos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Braganca got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Travassos. After a defensive mix-up in Braganca's zone, Dênis Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorival Oliveira came out of the goal and Dênis Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the game, Yan Prado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Braganca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Furtainha SC the free kick. After 37 played minutes Braganca got a freekick which was hit by Yan Prado. Dorival Oliveira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dênis Peres in the 60th minute. Agnaldo Cruz was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 61st minute. Furtainha SC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aníbal Severo during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Braganca got a freekick which was hit by Aníbal Severo. In the 64th minute, Jorginho Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dênis Peres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Dorival Oliveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 75 in the game by Dênis Peres from a close distance when the talented Dorival Oliveira managed to make a qualified save. Braganca's players were relieved. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After some careless play in the Braganca defense, Jorginho Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dorival Oliveira. The Braganca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorival Oliveira should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dênis Peres got free with Dorival Oliveira in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 86 minutes, Jorginho Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Furtainha SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorginho Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dorival Oliveira made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Dênis Peres sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Dênis Peres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Furtainha SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dênis Peres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorival Oliveira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Durval Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fernando Nogueira in the 93rd minute of play. The supporters of Furtainha SC booed when Braganca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aníbal Severo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Furtainha SC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
