Caio do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silas Pirani having to interfere. Silas Pirani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio do Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silas Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Galvão in the 36th minute of play. Caio do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maicon Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luan Paraense made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caio do Valle got free with Silas Pirani in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Silas Pirani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Hermes in the 55th minute of play. Caio do Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adelino Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Silas Pirani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silas Pirani was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adelino Hermes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 65 minute of play. After some careless play in the Charqueadense defense, Luan Paraense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narciso de Alcântara. The Charqueadense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narciso de Alcântara should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Defunto EC's Silas Pirani got control of the ball when Caio do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 played minutes Defunto EC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Paraíba. In the 96th match minute, Defunto EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lino Baiano to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Charqueadense could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Defunto EC throughout the match.
