Spectators: 7289 (Terracing: 5469, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Orlando Toscano got the match started through his kick off. Adriano Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Pereira having to interfere. In the 9th minute, Haroldo Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Vista Verde's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Tavares came free, but Perivaldo Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Vista Verde got a freekick which was hit by Manoel Medeiros. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Filipe Vidal during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Vista Verde getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Filipe Vidal hit a great ball. Perivaldo Pereira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adriano Tavares in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Tiago Leite who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vista Verde's Perivaldo Pereira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 1-0 became the score in the 26th minute when Orlando Toscano elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Orlando Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adriano Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Pereira having to interfere. If Tiago Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filipe Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Adriano Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Pereira having to interfere. The supporters of Red Nozes Football Club booed when Vista Verde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manoel Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Perivaldo Pereira came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Red Nozes Football Club's Adriano Tavares. But to his dismay, Adriano Tavares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Vista Verde's Perivaldo Pereira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiago Leite in the 55th minute of play. Adriano Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perivaldo Pereira having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Red Nozes Football Club's Adriano Tavares got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Adelino Secco kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Orlando Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Jorginho Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frédson Arruda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Frédson Arruda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adriano Tavares succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 84th playminute. In the 89th minute, Tiago Leite fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Perivaldo Pereira, passed just outside the right post. Orlando Toscano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorginho Loureiro having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Leite in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Perivaldo Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Red Nozes Football Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
