After 5 played minutes Charqueadense got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Galvão. After 6 minutes, Antônio Carlos Koehler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the CA Juventus and the Charqueadense players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antônio Carlos Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Adelino Hermes took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luiz Guilherme Montenegro. Luiz Guilherme Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luiz Guilherme Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adelino Hermes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CA Juventus were furious when Murillo Bastos was red carded, 25 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of CA Juventus:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Charqueadense:s goal. The referee gave Charqueadense a penalty, 26 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Caio do Valle, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of CA Juventus's Luiz Guilherme Montenegro. 1-2. Giuseppe Oliveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Guilherme Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Bastos in the 38th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Charqueadense's goal looked a bit too open when Giuseppe Oliveira came free, but Narciso de Alcântara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gernando Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. CA Juventus's Giuseppe Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 63rd minute of the match Caio do Valle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Guilherme Montenegro skillfully saved the ball. In the 65th minute of the match, Adelino Hermes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luiz Guilherme Montenegro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 70th minute, Charqueadense's Adelino Hermes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. 74 minutes into the match, Caio do Valle dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Luiz Guilherme Montenegro, 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisão Arce got free with Luiz Guilherme Montenegro in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Guilherme Montenegro was a little too slow when Adelino Hermes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 1-6. In the 86th minute of the match, Caio do Valle got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luiz Guilherme Montenegro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 88th minute, Charqueadense's Caio do Valle dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-7. Gláuber Prata struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Narciso de Alcântara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Juventus. Gláuber Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charqueadense's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
