With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caio Cosme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tiago Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caio Cosme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiago Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. José Maria Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jorginho Loureiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pedro Augusto Coelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caio Cosme came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Red Nozes Football Club's Tiago Leite. But to his dismay, Tiago Leite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Maurinho Barral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorginho Loureiro having to interfere. With a little luck, FlaCandango's Caio Cosme got control of the ball when Adriano Tavares tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pedro Augusto Coelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adriano Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Trigo during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Haroldo Miranda's late challenge caught a FlaCandango's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo Miranda helped the player get up and apologised. Haroldo Miranda kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Tavares in the 73rd minute of play forced FlaCandango's goalkeeper Caio Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Miranda hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Elias Melo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 81st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Davi Mineiro charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davi Mineiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Davi Mineiro hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Adriano Tavares sped through FlaCandango's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caio Cosme. After a defensive mix-up in FlaCandango's zone, Carlos Alberto de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caio Cosme came out of the goal and Carlos Alberto de Amorim tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
