Antônio Carlos Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Raúl Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maicon Donato helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Alcobaca booed when AIK Scotland Lyonais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernandinho Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Carlos Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Raúl Veloso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alcobaca's Raúl Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Marquez in the 35th minute of play. After 40 minutes Alcobaca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rodrigo Paranaense who took care of the corner kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamim Marquez to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alcobaca's goalkeeper Raúl Veloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alcobaca's Raúl Veloso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Alcobaca from getting a goal against them. After 57 played minutes Alcobaca got a freekick which was hit by Maicon Donato. In the 61st minute, Maicon Donato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danilo Massa charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamim Marquez in the 78th minute of play forced Alcobaca's goalkeeper Raúl Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Danilo Massa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AIK Scotland Lyonais played a much better game than Alcobaca and deserved their victory. The Alcobaca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
