Nestor Azevedo's late challenge caught a rei pirata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Azevedo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Veiarnodo FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Nestor Azevedo hit a great ball. José Paulo Massa kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Mineiro in the 13th minute of play forced rei pirata's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Luiz Brito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. rei pirata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olívio Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Eduardo Couto having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio Mineiro in the 32nd minute of play forced rei pirata's goalkeeper Luís Eduardo Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oséias de Godoy charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséias de Godoy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dalmo Schmidt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Edmílson Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Válter Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Osmar Ceresso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for rei pirata. José Paulo Massa charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 59th minute, Luiz Brito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veiarnodo FC's Osmar Ceresso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Teles in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute Edmílson Teles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Ceresso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Brito in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osmar Ceresso saved Veiarnodo FC from getting behind. Osmar Ceresso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmílson Teles's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. Osmar Ceresso came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by rei pirata's Edmílson Teles. But to his dismay, Edmílson Teles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 78 minutes into the match, Veiarnodo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Teles came free, but Osmar Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Luiz Brito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Osmar Ceresso was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Osmar Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Teles in the 80th minute of the match. If Luiz Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Brito in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Osmar Ceresso saved Veiarnodo FC from getting behind. rei pirata walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
