Antônio Carlos Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antônio Carlos Sousa's late challenge caught a rei pirata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antônio Carlos Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AIK Scotland Lyonais's Antônio Carlos Sousa got a free kick in the 14th minute. Oséias de Godoy hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. rei pirata's Luís Eduardo Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamim Marquez in the 16th minute of play. Luís Eduardo Couto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antônio Carlos Sousa in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antônio Carlos Sousa got free with Luís Eduardo Couto in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, AIK Scotland Lyonais's Luís Eduardo Couto threw himself towards the right post 23 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Benjamim Marquez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 25 minutes into the match, AIK Scotland Lyonais's Antônio Carlos Sousa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luís Eduardo Couto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32ndth minute of the game Benjamim Marquez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but rei pirata's Luís Eduardo Couto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fernandão Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 38 minutes into the match, Antônio Carlos Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Eduardo Couto. rei pirata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antônio Carlos Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Edmílson Teles scored 1-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernandão Macedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmílson Teles in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernandão Macedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute Luiz Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandão Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benjamim Marquez made a kick off. If Benjamim Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Eduardo Couto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antônio Carlos Sousa went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, AIK Scotland Lyonais's Fernandão Macedo got control of the ball when Edmílson Teles tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Brito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Fernandão Macedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 75th minute, rei pirata's Edmílson Teles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Paranaense during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of rei pirata booed when AIK Scotland Lyonais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Paranaense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmílson Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edmílson Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 84 played minutes rei pirata got a freekick which was hit by Edmílson Teles. In the 89th minute of the match Felippe Rossi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernandão Macedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Edmílson Teles's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernandão Macedo was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. AIK Scotland Lyonais were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing rei pirata to leave the ground with a draw.
