Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when José Vítor Castro got the match started through his kick off. Beto Viana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio Branco in the 3rd minute of play. Tiaguinho Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horácio Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agnaldo Bittencourt acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Reynaldo Guedes. Gustavo de Lima charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gustavo de Lima the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 21 played minutes Jaboticabal Atletico got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo de Lima. TOT UNITD's Beto Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Branco in the 26th minute of play. Horácio Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Beto Viana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute of the match TOT UNITD got a corner. Jaboticabal Atletico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Almir Moraes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Almir Moraes made a great header on TOT UNITD's corner, it was just that Jaboticabal Atletico's Agnaldo Bittencourt managed to reach the ball for a save. Agnaldo Bittencourt made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Abelardo França sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 36 minutes, Horácio Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaboticabal Atletico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horácio Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zézinho Rodrigues hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Agnaldo Bittencourt made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Abelardo França sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiaguinho Neves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tiaguinho Neves charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tiaguinho Neves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. José Vítor Castros short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Beto Viana to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 68thth minute of the game José Vítor Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TOT UNITD's Beto Viana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Horácio Branco came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Jaboticabal Atletico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horácio Branco couldn't finish the play. TOT UNITD's Beto Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save TOT UNITD from getting a goal against them. José Vítor Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Viana having to interfere. After 79 played minutes TOT UNITD got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Rodrigues. If Tiaguinho Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiaguinho Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Agnaldo Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Horácio Branco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Beto Viana. TOT UNITD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horácio Branco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Jaboticabal Atletico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
