Bruninho Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Castro in the 10th minute of play. José Vítor Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bruninho Miranda having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Vítor Castro in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bruninho Miranda saved Betel Sporting Club from getting behind. Edgar Gerber hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Bruninho Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Branco in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22ndth minute of the game José Vítor Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Betel Sporting Club's Bruninho Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Horácio Branco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaboticabal Atletico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Bruninho Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Branco in the 30th minute of the match. Dário Proença was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jaboticabal Atletico's zone, Maicon de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agnaldo Bittencourt came out of the goal and Maicon de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. José Vítor Castro struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Bruninho Miranda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaboticabal Atletico. Horácio Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bruninho Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 46thth minute of the game José Vítor Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Betel Sporting Club's Bruninho Miranda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horácio Branco in the 48th minute of play forced Betel Sporting Club's goalkeeper Bruninho Miranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Jaboticabal Atletico were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rony Bittencourt made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Betel Sporting Club's Bruninho Miranda got control of the ball when Zézinho Soares tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 58 played minutes Betel Sporting Club got a freekick which was hit by Dário Proença. When Jaboticabal Atletico's José Vítor Castro in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Betel Sporting Club's goalie prevented a goal. Bruninho Miranda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but José Vítor Castro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 65 minute of play. Leopoldo Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruninho Miranda having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Jaboticabal Atletico got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Braga. Maicon de Alcântara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agnaldo Bittencourt having to make a save. Horácio Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bruninho Miranda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Vítor Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruninho Miranda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Castro in the 84th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 90th minute by Horácio Branco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Betel Sporting Club's Bruninho Miranda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Vítor Castro in the 92nd minute of play. If José Vítor Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bruninho Miranda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of José Vítor Castro's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. Jaboticabal Atletico's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
