Spectators: 7256 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Horácio Branco made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Trocadeiro AD's goal looked a bit too open when Horácio Branco came free, but Wilson Dante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horácio Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Dante having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaboticabal Atletico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trocadeiro AD the free kick. In the 7th match minute, Jaboticabal Atletico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Santos to maneuver through the defense. Horácio Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Dante having to interfere. Nestor Valle received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Agnaldo Bittencourt came out and tried to block the shot, but Nestor Valle slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hudson Gaspar got free with Agnaldo Bittencourt in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Horácio Branco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nestor Valle did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Agnaldo Bittencourt 33 minutes into the match. When Edgar Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Jaboticabal Atletico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Gerber couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nestor Valle to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Hudson Gaspar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 56th minute Hudson Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agnaldo Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Moura kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Trocadeiro AD's Wilson Dante proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Trocadeiro AD from getting a goal against them. Jaboticabal Atletico's Agnaldo Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hudson Gaspar in the 62nd minute of play. Hudson Gaspar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nestor Valle scored 4-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agnaldo Bittencourt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Agnaldo Bittencourt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hudson Gaspar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Horácio Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Hudson Gaspar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agnaldo Bittencourt was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 79th minute, Reynaldo Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Dante made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Horácio Branco sent off a good shot on target. Horácio Branco came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Wilson Dante could save by the left post. 93 minutes into the match, Nestor Valle notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Jaboticabal Atletico's Agnaldo Bittencourt. Agnaldo Bittencourt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Trocadeiro AD support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
