A collision led to Leonels FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Luís Guilherme Cerezo hit a great ball. Claudinei Cardoso's late challenge caught a Guveia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinei Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. After 9 played minutes Leonels FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudinei Cardoso. Jardel Fonseca, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Yan Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Durval Soares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yan Ramos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Nogueira in the 19th minute of the match. Guveia's Yan Ramos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Soares in the 22nd minute of play. Geraldo Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cido Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leonels FC's Claudinei Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudinei Cardoso kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Leonels FC got a freekick which was hit by Luís Guilherme Cerezo. With a little luck, Leonels FC's Cido Varela got control of the ball when Gilmar Pitta tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Alfredinho Pena took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Cido Varela to make any attempt to save it.

Geraldo Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Cido Varela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Durval Soares came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Leonels FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Durval Soares couldn't finish the play. Guveia's Yan Ramos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Guveia from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemente Neiva during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Leonels FC booed when Guveia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fausto Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Durval Soares got free with Yan Ramos in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Guveia's Leonel Branco got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Jardel Fonseca took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Yan Ramos. Guveia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Fausto Nogueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leonels FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Nogueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cido Varela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Motta in the 80th minute of the match. Jardel Fonseca was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Fausto Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Yan Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guveia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
